This data will change the way you think about million dollar giving

The Million Dollar List covers publicly reported gifts of $1 million and above made since 2000. New research about million dollar gifts provides insight about giving and new tools and resources for donors, advisors, media and others interested in philanthropy.

The resources below offer insights into giving at the highest level in the United States, a careful examination of the methods used to collect and report the Million Dollar List, an examination of the data and some initial analyses of data through 2010, and a number of other studies that use Million Dollar List data.

The Million Dollar Donors Report: This report is released annually, beginning in 2013, and explores million dollar-plus giving in the U.S., U.K., China, Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore, and the Middle East (GCC countries).

Giving USA 2012 Spotlight #2: Trends in Million-Dollar-Plus Gifts Made by Individuals, 2000-2010: This Giving USA Spotlight takes a look at key economic indicators that relate to million-dollar-plus giving by American donors using the Million Dollar List.
